Ms. Sandstrom has served as a director of the Company since July 2020. She brings valuable business, financial and investment expertise to the Board. She has served as independent director for Healthpeak Properties since 2018. Previously, Ms. Sandstrom served as Senior Managing Director at Heitman LLC, as an Advisor from July 2018 to March 2019 and Senior Managing Director and global head of Heitman LLC’s Public Real Estate Securities business from 2013 to 2018. Since joining Heitman in 1996, she held several senior leadership positions across multiple facets of the institutional real estate investment industry. Additionally, Ms. Sandstrom served on Heitman’s Global Management Committee, the Board of Managers and the Allocation Committee. Ms. Sandstrom received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of West Florida, and she is a certified public accountant.
